NUTTY PEAR SLAW
MAKES 8 SERVINGS
INGREDIENTS
3 cups (8 ounces) Coleslaw mix, packaged
1 can (15 ounces) Bartlett pear halves, chopped
1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts
DRESSING
1/4
cup olive or vegetable oil
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1-1/2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, coarsely ground
METHOD
In small
bowl, combine dressing ingredients, whisk until blended. In large bowl,
combine coleslaw mix and pears. Add dressing; toss lightly to coat. Add
chopped peanuts; re-toss just before serving.
