PEAR AND TOMATO PIZZA
MAKES 6 SERVINGS


INGREDIENTS

1 cup shredded low fat mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
1 large (16 ounce) Italian bread shell or prepared pizza crust
1 large tomato, thinly sliced
1 can (16 ounces) Bartlett pear halves, drained
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
_ teaspoon coarsely ground pepper

METHOD

Toss mozzarella cheese with herbs, sprinkle over bread shell or pizza crust. Arrange tomatoes on cheese layer. Slice pear halves, leaving small end intact; fan over tomatoes. Combine Parmesan cheese and pepper, sprinkle over top. Bake at 425°F 12 to 18 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
