PEAR MINCEMEAT
PIE
MAKES 12 SERVINGS
INGREDIENTS
1 can (15 ounces) Bartlett pears, drained and chopped
2 cups prepared mincemeat
1/4 cup brandy
2 teaspoons freshly grated lemon peel
2 9-inch prepared pie crusts
METHOD
In large bowl, combine pears, mincemeat, brandy and lemon peel; pour
into pastry-lined pie plate. Roll remaining pastry into a 10 to 11-inch
circle and cut into 5/8-inch strips. Twist strips and arrange in a spiral
pattern on top of filling.
