CINNAMON PEAR BREAD
MAKES 12 SERVINGS
INGREDIENTS
1
1lb. loaf frozen prepared bread dough
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 can (15 ounces) Bartlett pears, drained and chopped
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 tablespoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
METHOD
Thaw bread dough according to package directions. Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
Roll dough into a rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick. Brush butter onto rectangle.
Mix together pears, nuts, cranberries, cinnamon and sugar. Spoon pear
mixture evenly over rolled dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the sides.
Roll dough from longest side and place seam down on cookie sheet. Brush
with remaining butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake until golden brown, about 55 minutes.
Serving Suggestion: Serve warm and fresh or use 2 days old to make French
toast!
