PEAR SORBET
Yield: 1 Quart
INGREDIENTS
1-1/2 cups Sugar
3 cups Water
2 cups Pacific Northwest Canned Pears (any style), drained, pureed
2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
METHOD
Combine sugar and water and simmer until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Stir in pureed pear and lemon juice. Freeze in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturer directions.
