PEAR CHUTNEY
Yield: 24 Servings (1/4 Cup Each)
INGREDIENTS
3 lbs. Pacific Northwest Canned Pears, diced, drained
1 lbs. (3 cups) Onion, chopped
2 cups Honey
1-1/2 cups Cider vinegar
4 oz. (3/4 cup) Raisins
1/3 cup Jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
1-1/2 tsp. Ground allspice
METHOD
Combine pear with remaining ingredients; bring mixture to a boil. Reduce to a simmer; cook, uncovered, until thickened, about 30 minutes. Cool; serve at room temperature.
