CANNED PEAR SIZES

Choice pears have relatively good size, form and character. Standard pears have the same great flavor as Choice but they may be more irregular in shape and not as perfectly trimmed. Pacific Northwest canned Bartlett pears are available packed in a variety of sizes and styles. 8-, 16-, and 29 ounce cans appeal to consumers and the 100 ounce/#10 can size is appropriate for foodservice. Typically, diced, sliced, halved, and chunked canned pears are available to consumers.
